ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -On Wednesday, students at Miriam School and Learning Center returned to the classroom for the first day of school.

Miriam is a private school for children from across St. Louis with learning differences. Often, its students face various challenges include specific learning disabilities, ADHD, level 1 autism, speech and language disorders, anxiety and sensory processing differences.

Often, returning to a school year routine can be an adjustment for students, something parents can begin preparing for in the weeks prior to the school year beginning.
