Maryland Republican state delegates are asking President Donald Trump to prevent a New Jersey company building a transmission line across three Maryland counties from using federal marshals to help its surveyors get access to property.
The letter, dated Wednesday and copied to Attorney General Pam Bondi, expressed concern that Public Service Enterprise Group, which is seeking to build a 67-mile transmission line across Frederick, Carroll, and Baltimore counties, could get permission from a federal court to use federal marshals to accompany agents as they conduct field studies for the project.
