A 35-year-old Odessa man was arrested Monday after his former girlfriend accused him of breaking into her home and threatening to kill her while choking her.

According to an Odessa Police Department report, officers were dispatched to an assault call around 4:20 a.m. Sunday and when they arrived, the woman said Anthony Rashaud Hunt broke into her backyard greenhouse on East 12th Street and made his way through her laundry room, kitchen and into her bedroom.

The woman said she woke up to Hunt standing by her bed with her phone in his hand, the report stated. She told officers Hunt repeatedly poked her in the face before grabbing her neck with both hands and choking her.
