Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle are heading to the Great White Way!!

The 29-year-old Emmy-winning The Bear star and the 60-year-old Oscar-nominated actor will be starring in the upcoming Broadway revival of David Auburn ’s Tony Award-winning play Proof , according to Variety .

This will mark the Broadway debuts for both Ayo and Don !

Tony-winning Hamilton director Thomas Kail will direct the strictly limited engagement at the Shubert Theatre in Spring 2026.

Proof “tells the story of a brilliant but troubled mathematician, his daughter and the blurred line between genius and madness.”
