(NewsNation) — A mother killed her husband, two kids and then herself in a murder-suicide in New Hampshire earlier this week.
Emily Long, 34; Ryan Long, 48; son Parker Long, 8; and daughter Ryan Long, 6, were the four family members identified, authorities confirmed. A third child was also found alive and uninjured inside the home.
Autopsies done Wednesday revealed that both children died as a result of a single gunshot to the head, according to a press release from the New Hampshire Attorney's Office. Their deaths were ruled a homicide.
