DES MOINES, Iowa -- It was a warm and dry Wednesday across central Iowa, and this weather looks to continue into Friday before a cool and less humid change rolls our way.
Lows Wednesday night will be pleasant, and Thursday again looks warm and dry. Friday starts out dry before storms push in from the northwest in conjunction with a cold front. This storm chance will linger into the early morning hours on Saturday, which will be a bit breezy. Those breezes will eventually usher in cooler temperatures.
Cyclone fans will get to experience cool weather first, however, which will be appropriate for American football.
Highs for the next six days are above, and the cooler end to the 7-day forecast is below. It appears we'll stay cooler than average through the 30th.
