FRISCO, Texas – In the Cowboys' final training camp practice of the offseason, it turned into a "legendary" night for multiple reasons.

An award that honors one of the most iconic figures in Cowboys history, was given by a Hall of Famer to another that will likely wind up in Canton, Ohio himself.

Darren Woodson was the winner of the 2025 Tom Landry Award, presented by last year's winner, Drew Pearson, during a pre-practice event at The Star in Frisco.

The annual Tom Landry Award, presented by United Heathcare, is given to a former Cowboys great recognized for their efforts on and off the field.

Woodson, the Cowboys' all-time leader in tackles with 1,350, played 12 seasons from 1992-2003. He's a five-time Pro Bowler and helped the Cowboys win three Super Bowls.
