NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — Billionaire Walmart heiress Alice Walton has, for a second time this year, donated money to a political action committee supporting Andrew Cuomo's campaign for mayor of New York City.
Records from the New York City Campaign Finance Board describe Walton as a "self-employed philanthropist," noting a Bentonville, Arkansas, address alongside two separate donations of $100,000 each to the Fix the City PAC.
Walton made a donation to the PAC on April 2, 2025, and again on Aug. 6, 2025.
Campaign finance records said the PAC has spent over $22 million on the race, with nearly $15 million in support of Cuomo's bid and nearly $8 million in opposition of Democratic primary winner Zohran Mamdani.
