A heat advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 7:31 p.m. valid from Friday 1 p.m. until Saturday 8 p.m. for Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades.

The weather service comments, "Hot conditions with high temperatures of 95 to 100 degrees expected. Overnight low temperatures of 55 to 65 degrees."

"Hot temperatures may cause heat related illnesses," adds the weather service.
