BENTONVILLE -- The Benton County Planning Board allowed a proposed 24-lot rural subdivision in the Gravette area to move forward despite residents' concerns about the development's possible environmental impact.
The Planning Board voted 4-1 Wednesday to approve the preliminary plat for the Fruitwood Acres subdivision with conditions.
Jeremy Goucher, Linda Lloyd, Kevin Smith and Rachel Kitterman voted in favor of the plat while Vernon Reams voted against it.
Theresa Neal, board member, was absent.
The board also approved two requested variances from the county Planning and Development Regulations.
