LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Trooper First Class Peggy Bourque and Sergeant Ross Brennan with Louisiana State Police visited News 10 for an extended conversation.
Many different topics were covered, but one topic was the increase in both arrests and convictions in cases of child exploitation.
Brennan says people often think of State Police as a highway patrol agency, but behind the scenes, they are doing so much more.
"There's so many different aspects of State Police on the detective side," said Brennan. "We do have a Special Victims Unit."
