CLEVELAND, Ohio— The Ohio Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed a lawsuit to move forward over Geauga County officials’ refusal to release records involving the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The ACLU of Ohio sued the county’s sheriff , saying the office violated Ohio laws by refusing to release public records. The civil rights group filed the suit with the state’s highest court, seeking an order to make the county turn over the documents.
