Quilt awards

WOODSTOCK — Billings Farm & Museum announced the winners of the 2025 People’s Choice and Staff Awards for “A Vermont Quilt Sampler” Exhibition, on view from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Sept. 1 and is included with admission.

People’s Choice Award winners:

— 1st Place: My First Garden by Petra Williams, of Wilmington.

— 2nd Place: Reach for the Stars by Gloria Lowell, of Benson.

— 3rd Place: Maybelline by Jack Tissiere, of Windsor.

— Staff Choice Award: Reach for the Stars by Gloria Lowell, of Benson.

This year’s exhibition features these winning quilts alongside 50 additional works created by artists from 36 towns across Vermont, offering a true “sampler.” Hands-on activities invite guests of all ages to explore the tradition and creativity of quilting. V
