When the roof came down on Lakeside High School over the 2024 Thanksgiving weekend, the thought of being forced into a school building designed more for kindergarteners than those on the brink of adulthood was a little more than some Lakeside students wanted to deal with.

For Tierre Anderson, though, the thought of deserting the only place he ever thought of playing for was something he said never even entered his mind.
