SALISBURY — This summer, the CENV team has taken the Ford Lightning’s capabilities on the road, hosting interactive events for groups like the Summer Explorations youth day camps, the BUDD Group, and the Rowan Chamber Dragon Boat Festival 2025.

“These events are about more than just good food,” said Sarah Trefz, environmental communications intern for Catawba’s Center for the Environment (CENV). “They’re a fun and memorable way to show how electric vehicles like the Ford Lightning can change the way we think about energy and sustainability.”
