Five U.S. citizens and one permanent resident are suing federal agencies after they were detained by federal authorities during immigration raids across Southern California, attorneys announced on Wednesday.
Separate complaints were filed against the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on behalf of the plaintiffs.

“These are law-abiding Latino U.S. citizens that are afraid to go about their daily activities because they were wrapped up in a reign of terror,” attorney Michael Carillo said.
