James Morgan will receive the opportunity he has been craving when the Montreal Alouettes host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Thursday night.
Morgan will become the fourth different quarterback to start for the Alouettes (5-5) this season. It will also be his first CFL start and only his third since finishing his college career in 2019.
"This is an opportunity," said Morgan, a fourth-round pick by the NFL's New York Jets in 2020. "You do everything you can to take advantage of the opportunity. ... I wish it were under different circumstances, but it's something you have to always be ready for."
