THE WNBA has made a historic announcement over the 2025 season despite Caitlin Clark’s injury hell.

The Indiana Fever star is widely regarded as the league’s best player.

But she has not played in over a month after injuring her groin.

Before that, Clark had previously suffered another groin strain while also tweaking her quad.

And now, Clark’s run of 22 games missed — including the last 13 in a row — is set to extend after she was diagnosed with a bone bruise on her ankle.

There is no timeline for her return, with head coach Stephanie White saying: “Until she can get into practice and you guys see her in practice, it’s really status quo.”
