SOPHIE Cunningham does not hold a grudge towards the player that caused her season-ending injury.
The Indiana Fever star, 29, has shot to fame this year while playing alongside Caitlin Clark .
Unfortunately for WNBA fans, Cunningham was ruled out of the remainder of the campaign after suffering a knee injury during Sunday's overtime victory over the Connecticut Sun.
In the second quarter, the guard collided with Sun star Bria Hartley.
The incident left Cunningham clutching her knee, and she went on to have to be helped to the locker room.
Cunningham's mom Paula was furious with the play, writing in a since-deleted X post, "Hartley is a disgruntled player having trouble everywhere she goes; she's plain mean and plays out of control."
