A NEO-NAZI who changed gender after being convicted has been allowed to serve time in a women's prison, sparking fury across Germany.

Marla-Svenja Liebich, 53, previously known as Sven, in the past fumed that transgender people were "parasites" and fascists, raising concerns over the intentions behind the decision.

The moustachioed fascist was convicted of inciting hatred, criminal insults and trespassing for a range of crimes - including advertising a baseball bat online as a "deportation aid".

Liebich was a member of a banned neo-Nazi group called Blood and Honour , according to Germany media.

A sentence of 18 months in prison was handed down in July 2023 - which the extremist unsuccessfully appealed.

At that point, Liebich identified as a male - and had done since birth
