It will be another gloomy morning commute on Thursday. Skies will remain mostly cloudy with a slight chance for a sprinkle or shower. High temperatures will only reach the mid to upper 70s in most locations this afternoon, but cloud coverage will start to break up this evening.

Skies will turn partly sunny by sunset, leading to pleasant and dry conditions for the first high school football games of the season. Low temperatures will fall into the upper 50s overnight with clearing skies.

High pressure will slide into the region on Friday, with mostly sunny skies expected. High temperatures will return to our seasonal average in the low-80s with lowered humidity. Skies will remain clear Friday night into early Saturday morning.
