LIBERTY & GIRARD - Trumbull County is reporting over 2,700 power outages Thursday morning, with the most prominent areas being Liberty Township and Girard.

According to FirstEnergy's website, as of 9:30 a.m. Thursday, 2,452 customers in Liberty Township, as well as another 303 customers in Girard are without power.

The exact cause of the outage is unknown at this time, but a representative for FirstEnergy tells 21 News crews are on their way to investigate the cause.

According to FirstEnergy's website, power is expected to be restored by 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
