Police in Youngstown are investigating after a child was found wandering in a neighborhood naked earlier in the week.

According to a police report, the child was found in the front yard of a home on the 100 block of North Brockway Avenue. Police say the child appeared to be around four to five years old and was non-verbal.

The child was taken to Mahoning County Children Services until his parents were located. A representative for the City of Youngstown tells 21 News the child's parents were located a few hours later.

Police and Children Services are still investigating the circumstances of how this incident happened. It is unclear if charges will be filed in this case.
