End of an era as Bristol's Snooker City announces closure

A popular Bristol snooker club, which has been at the heart of the game’s community in the city for more than 40 years, is to finally close, the management has announced. Snooker City, which has been located at the Broad Walk Shopping Centre complex since the 1980s is another victim of the crumbling shopping centre car park structure.

The club has announced it will close its doors for the last time on September 28, and will hold a ‘last blow out’ disco event to which everyone is welcome, on Saturday, September 27.
