ELK RAPIDS DAM 'A handful of big issues,' Grand Traverse County commissioner says

TRAVERSE CITY — Questions abound over what a dam repair in Elk Rapids could mean for nearly 400 waterfront owners in Grand Traverse County.

County commissioners agreed Wednesday to ask legal counsel for more information on a potential special assessment to fix an auxiliary spillway for the Elk Rapids Dam.
