The New York Jets traded for two defensive tackles yesterday, acquiring veteran Harrison Phillips from the Minnesota Vikings and youngster Jowon Briggs from the Cleveland Browns. The two trades cost the Jets three sixth round draft picks while returning two seventh round picks.
