The 79th annual One World Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens at East and Martin Luther King boulevards.
Special attractions include a naturalization ceremony where people from 25 countries will become U.S. citizens. Ethnic and cultural performances will be held throughout the day at the main stage at Centennial Peace Plaza on MLK. Almost all gardens will have activities, food and performances. There will be marketplace shopping opportunities and adults can relax in one of two Beer Gardens in the German and Irish Gardens.
The Parade of Flags will occur at noon, with 1,000 people from over 50 cultures march wearing traditional clothing of their heritage. Former Cleveland baseball standout Carlos Baerga will be the grand marshal and Cuyahoga County Exe
