FAYETTEVILLE -- Former 4-star prospect Kevin Oatis Jr., a freshman defensive lineman, said he hopes to have a chance to be in the rotation for the University of Arkansas this season and he credits early enrollment in January.

"Right now, I know the plays," Oatis said earlier in the summer. "I'm getting into the rotation right now. Just me coming in the spring was a blessing. I know what to expect next spring and during the season and I have a feel for college ball already."

Oatis, 6-3, 295 pounds, of Hattiesburg, Miss., came to the Razorbacks as a 4-star recruit by ESPN and rated as the No. 16 defensive tackle and No. 188 overall prospect in the nation for the 2025 class. Rivals also rated him a 4-star prospect.
