A man nicknamed El Bigote was killed during a procedure carried out last Monday by agents of the Bolivarian National Police in the Múcura sector, Sucre municipality (Cagua), Aragua state.

The deceased is associated with the Los Chevrolet gang, founded by Manuel Antonio Alvarado Román (Manuel Chevrolt), who is in turn an ally of Héctor Guerrero (Niño Guerrero). Both were held in the Aragua Penitentiary.

Manuel Chevrolet and Niño Guerrero are in Colombia, where they are trying to reorganize the criminal group, according to Minister Diosdado Cabello. At the site where El Bigote was killed, officials seized an AR-15 rifle.
