The Daily Beast reports Fox News co-host Jessica Tarlov is trolling White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt for “gushing over Donald Trump’s peacemaking skills.”

On Tuesday, Leavitt called Trump “the peace president” and claimed that “American leadership is back on the world stage.”

“What we’ve witnessed President Trump accomplish over the last two days is nothing short of remarkable,” Leavitt told reporters in the Oval Office, while ribbing “… the weakness and incompetence of Joe Biden for foolishly allowing the killing to start in the first place.”

The Beast reports Leavitt claimed presidents “traveled halfway around the world to apologize for America,” but Trump “firmly restored America’s status as the undisputed leader of the free world.”

Amid Leavitt’s claim, Russia targeted Ukraine overnight with nearly 600 drones and 40 missiles, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. Most of the weapons were intercepted by Ukraine's air defenses, but at least one person was killed and 15 injured.

Tarlov, the most liberal co-host of Fox News’ “The Five” posted on her X account on Wednesday: “I’m sure next to standing up for America in the dictionary it reads, ‘Putin wants to make a deal for me.’”

Tarlov was likely referencing the Monday incident when Trump was caught on a hot mic telling French President Emmanuel Macron, “I think he wants to make a deal for me. Do you understand that? As crazy as it sounds.”

Her comment drew anger from MAGA elements on X, with commenters calling her “ugly” and “hateful,” among other insults.

The Beast also reports Leavitt was photographed sitting in a gold armchair usually reserved for heads of state. The Beast reports Trump is often seated there himself.
