Two boys helped track down the middle-aged man who stole their bikes from Station Mall last summer.
Their bicycles were taken on June 21, 2024, assistant Crown attorney Adrianna Mucciarelli told court on Wednesday.

Mall security found one the bikes, a red BMX. The youngsters spotted Paul Firlotte riding a black BMX bike near Wendy’s on Queen Street West. Sault Ste. Marie Police Service searched for Firlotte. A group of people on Albert Street West pointed him out. The bicycle was returned to the youngster.
Firlotte, 42, pleaded guilty to theft under $5,000 and two counts breach of an undertaking.
