MEDINA, Ohio – Superintendent Aaron Sable described the first day of school for Medina students as “a very positive start.”
“I had the opportunity to visit most of the buildings throughout the day. We greeted the students and it amazed me how smoothly things go in our buildings,” Sable said. “It’s like our staff doesn’t miss a heartbeat coming off summer break.”
Sable, who is a former high school teacher, said he was especially impressed while visiting Northrop Elementary School during dismissal at the end of the school day.
“In high school it is just about dismissing the students at the end of the day, but I watched how staff made sure students got on the right bus or in the right car or were on the correct way home,” Sable said. “Seeing the staff do this flawlessly even on day one was
