MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Most of New Hampshire is now considered to be experiencing a moderate drought, according to the latest report from the U.S. Drought Monitor.

According to the report, about 85.54% of the state, including portions of all 10 counties, is seeing moderate drought conditions. About 14.46% of New Hampshire, in an area along the Massachusetts border, is considered to be seeing "abnormally dry" conditions.

The latest report shows a significant jump in the number of communities seeing moderate drought conditions, up from 12% last week.
