HGTV is heading to the beach with its latest original orders as it also brings back one of its most recent hits.
The network has ordered Cheap A$$ Beach Houses and Tropic Like It’s Hot , two series focused on the slightly racier end of the property market.
This comes after Deadline revealed last month that the network, which is overseen by Howard Lee, Chief Creative Officer, U.S. Networks, Warner Bros. Discovery, was looking to become slightly sexier after a slew of cancelations.
Cheap A$$ Beach Houses comes from Bodega Pictures, which is behind series including Discovery’s Sin City Tow and Food Network’s Girl Meets Farm . Airing later this year, it shows how to own a slice of affordable paradise.
