ALTOONA, Pa. (KTRE) - Former Jasper Bulldog John McMillon tossed a scoreless inning of relief in the Reading Fightin Phils 7-1 win over the Altoona Curve on Wednesday.

The right-hander entered the game in the ninth inning.

McMillon allowed a single to Termarr Johnson to begin the inning, before getting Nick Cimilo to ground into a 6-4-3 double play. McMillon then got Esmerlyn Valdez to ground out to end the game.

McMillon threw six pitches, with five of them being strikes.

Reading and Altoona continue their series on Thursday.
