One brand burst fans’ bubbles this week, as it announced the end of its hard seltzer line after just four years.

Spindrift, the popular sparkling water brand, said it will no longer produce its alcoholic beverage line, Spiked Spindrift.

The decision from the company based in Newton, Massachusetts, comes after it cited a strategic shift to focus on its core non-alcoholic products.

“After four years, we’ve decided to discontinue our Spindrift Spiked product line to focus on what we do best: bringing real ingredients to sparkling water and innovating new non-alcoholic categories with real squeezed fruit,” the brand said in an Instagram announcement.

The hard seltzer, which debuted in 2021, gained a devoted following for its use of real ingredients, Parade said.
