Human remains found at a Rehoboth home Tuesday are believed to be that of a pregnant teen missing since Aug. 7 and her boyfriend will be charged with murder, officials said.

Gregory Groom, 22, is due to be arraigned Wednesday in Taunton District Court for the death of 18-year-old Kylee Monteiro, Bristol District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III said at a late night news conference.

“The evidence in support of the charges will be laid out at that time,” Quinn told reporters, according to video broadcast by Boston 25 News.

Earlier Tuesday, Groom was arrested on charges of allegedly assaulting Monteiro the day before she went missing earlier this month.
