State Police Lieutenant Donald Bossi, who was badly injured in a hit-and-run crash in June in Revere, was transferred Tuesday from a Boston hospital to a Cambridge rehab facility to continue his recovery, officials said.
Bossi was moved from Massachusetts General Hospital to a Spaulding Rehabilitation facility in Cambridge with a State Police escort, officials said.
It wasn’t immediately clear how long Bossi is expected to remain at the Spaulding site.
Akram El Moukhtari, 18, of Revere, faces charges in connection with the June 23 crash, including leaving the scene of personal injury, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and receiving a stolen motor vehicle. He has pleaded not guilty.
