MSNBC played video on Thursday of Texas state Rep. Nicole Collier (D) being forced off of a call with the Democratic National Committee that she had joined while under house arrest in the state Capitol.

Host Ali Vitali explained that Collier “was confined to the Austin State House chamber this week, eating and sleeping there rather than leaving with a Republican mandated police escort meant to prevent members from breaking quorum once again. From there, she took part in a DNC call yesterday with top Democrats like Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) and California Governor Gavin Newsom . And then this happened.”
