OCEAN CITY — What could be the worst flooding Ocean City has seen for years will line up with a closely-watched City Council vote on Thursday evening, with the first official decision on the future of the former Wonderland amusement park on the agenda.

City Council has on its agenda for Thursday a resolution referring a question of declaring the property at 600 Boardwalk as an area in need of rehabilitation , a move requested by developer Eustace Mita as part of his plan to build a 252-room hotel at the site.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 861 Asbury Ave.
