Kristian Nairn has issued his own statement following the BBC's confirmation that he has had to withdraw from Strictly Come Dancing.
It was revealed on Thursday (August 21) that actor and DJ Kristian Nairn has withdrawn from the next run of the BBC One dance contest for medical reasons.
The 49-year old is best known for playing Hodor in the HBO fantasy series Game Of Thrones, and also starred as Wee John Feeney in comedy Our Flag Means Death.
The full line-up for the 2025 run of the BBC One dance contest was only announced in full last week with Kristian confirmed to be joined by the likes of Love Island winner Danni Dyer, Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal and drag queen La Voix.
