BELOIT, Wis. -- The Rock County Medical Examiner's Department on Thursday identified a Janesville woman as the motorcycle driver who died after a crash in Beloit Sunday afternoon.

Nicole Ludeking, 39, died at a local hospital following a crash in the 1900 block of Cranston Road. The crash was reported at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Beloit police said Ludeking's motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Preliminary results of a forensic examination show she died from injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
