EDINA, Minn. — Minnesota will soon have its own place to help share the story of "The State of Hockey."
The Minnesota Hockey Hall of Fame (MNHHOF) announced plans for a new approximately $70 million complex to honor the state's rich hockey tradition while celebrating the players, coaches, officials and community members who helped make Minnesota "The State of Hockey."
During a press conference Thursday, Minnesota hockey legend and MNHHOF CEO Natalie Darwitz announced plans for a new 120,000+ square-foot space that will include a museum, ice arena, hockey-themed restaurant and auditorium for concerts and induction ceremonies, according to a press release.
