MIDLAND The Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP) applauds the Texas Department of Transportation’s continued investment in the Permian Basin following the Texas Transportation Commission’s unanimous adoption of the 2026 Unified Transportation Program, which will guide TxDOT project funding. These directed funds will greatly benefit residential and commercial traffic by improving mobility and making our roads safer.
New allocations for the Permian Basin in the 2026 UTP include critical funding towards: • $194 million for the Pecos Relief Route in Reeves County • $38 million for SH 302 in Ector County
