A vehicle slammed into a State Police cruiser deployed for a highway detail in Canton on Tuesday, injuring the driving but not the trooper, police said.
The trooper was stationed near the intersection of Interstates 93 and 95 in support of a highway work crew when the vehicle ran into the cruiser around 10 p.m., police said.
“The trooper-operator requested EMS for the driver for non-life-threatening injuries,” police said. “Thankfully, he himself was uninjured.”
State Police issued a reminder to drivers to pass work crews with care.
