Traveling with kids doesn’t always go according to plan. In fact, the only thing you can count on is that something will go awry! Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons experienced more than minor setbacks during a recent trip abroad, which led to an “extremely frightening” motherhood moment with 4-year-old James.

The Civil War star briefly relocated with her husband and their sons, James and Ennis, 7, to Budapest while she filmed The Entertainment System Is Down. She enrolled Ennis in school and was prepared for a six-month stay overseas, when her son got sick. In a cover interview with Town & Country, Dunst revealed that her youngest child had a serious health scare, and even though everything is fine now, it was “extremely frightening” at the time.
