DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. —

City prosecutor Makayla Danner is running for Douglas County Attorney.

She has more than 20 years of experience as a public servant and prosecutor.

Danner is hoping to unseat incumbent Don Kleine by running on a platform of "new energy" and "fresh perspective."

Kleine and Danner are two of four people running for county attorney right now. District Court Clerk Crystal Rhoades and Deputy County Attorney Amy Jacobsen are also in the running.
