Earlier this week, the Philadelphia Eagles watched their 24-year-old wide receiver Johnny Wilson get carted off the field at practice as he went down with a leg injury.
As it turns out, the Eagles' wide receiver will miss the entire 2024 NFL season.
Wilson was heading into his second NFL season. The young wideout recently wrapped up a four-year college stint, where he played for two different schools.
At the start of his career, Wilsin played for Arizona State. After making eight appearances across two seasons, Wilson left for Florida State in 2022. During his sophomore season, Wilson started 13 games. He caught 43 passes for 897 yards and five touchdowns.
In 2023, Wilson wrapped up his college career with 10 games played. He caught 41 passes for 617 yards and two touchdowns.
