The New Orleans Saints are reportedly in the market to add another running back to their depth chart .

"The Saints want a backup plan if Alvin Kamara, the team's offensive weapon, happens to go down with an injury or needs a breather during a game," The Athletic 's Larry Holder wrote.

Holder's reporting was supported by colleague Dianna Russini , who said the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs are also making calls looking for a running back.

Washington Commanders Brian Robinson Jr. is one reported available option on the market.

Behind Kamara, the current Saints' running back room includes Kendre Miller, Devin Neal, Cam Akers and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Akers and Edwards-Helaire are fan favorites as Akers was a star athlete at Clinton High School in Clinton, Mississip
