The Ohio Jewish Caucus released a statement Aug. 19 supporting Ohio State Rep. Ismail Mohamed, D-Columbus, who is a Somali-born American citizen, after a social media post accused him of conspiring to elect Somali people to official government positions across the U.S. and lobby for the country on federal levels.
